Check-In Process
When entering a classroom the children are given a name tag for personal identification, and are invited to participate in a variety of engaging activities during the duration of the check-in period. The activities are designed for the leaders to interact with the children while creating an enjoyable learning environment, and easing any separation anxieties that they may experience. The three year olds through Kindergarten parents are given a pre-numbered id sticker with matching number for parent or guardian that is necessary to release the child at the end of the service hour.
Story Time
The children will learn a bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and focus of the lesson. They will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion that will help them learn how to apply biblical truths to their lives. The lesson is concluded with a craft project that reinforces what they have learned, and allows them to creatively express themselves. Our classroom environments emphasize character development and spiritual growth.
Worship Time
The children will enjoy a group worship time which includes singing and a video teaching lesson. The lesson reinforces the bible story and memory verse that they will be learning in their classrooms. This time of worship ends with a group prayer.
Fellowship Time
At the end of the service hour, the children will play a game or activity that reinforces the lesson and is a fun time of group connection.
The three year olds through Kindergarten classes also enjoy a light, peanut-free snack together where prayers of thanksgiving are shared. The classes will also visit the playground, weather permitting, on a rotational basis.
Check-Out Process
